Neighborhood events give you an opportunity to make new friends and become an integral part of the community. These include The annual Fourth of July parade and festivities (run by volunteers, which you can watch from your own porchfront), multi-family yard sale in May, holiday caroling, and re-enactment of George Washington crossing the Delaware River each Christmas Day. The "island" newsletter (started by a budding young editor) keeps everyone connected. Titusville also houses three churches within an easy walk from the home.

The Trenton Train station, just a 15 minute drive from the home, provides easy transportation to New York City, Philadelphia and Princeton (many in the neighborhood commute to these locations everyday). The home is also close to many universities and colleges including Lehigh, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, Rutgers, College of New Jersey, Princeton University and Rider University.
